It consists of two materials (isocyanate and polyol) that expand up to 30 times their original volume into a watertight, and seamless solid. SPF is sprayed as a liquid and expands into a foam which creates a solid layer across a roof. Once the expansion process is complete, the foam forms to the roofing substrate and hardens creating a solid membrane. This membrane provides the ultimate protection and insulation.
